The Aeroknox BUTTERFLY // BRAKE Is designed to mitigate muzzle rise and recoil. The secret to this brake is the angle of the first baffle. It not only directs the gasses out, but directs them upwards to accommodate for muzzle rise and side concussion. This gas dispersion creates a butterfly wing shape (hence the name) there is also a ramping effect in the first baffle, forcing gasses through 1 internal hole, and exhausting through 3 holes in the top, which are also angled. The 2nd baffle will direct what gasses that are left, outwards, reducing recoil.
